This fridge has the appearance of a luxurious appliance, but without the price. The counter-depth of this fridge allows you to get the built-in appearance at a cheaper cost than a custom-built refrigerator. It also does a great job of hiding the water dispenser and Ice maker behind a faux panel. This makes it appear more streamlined than models which display the appliances. It does have a few minor flaws in the design that keep it from being as great.
This Frigidaire fridge is counter-depth. It is able to lose 7 cubic feet in usable space when compared to a Gallery fridge with standard depth measurements. This is a huge sacrifice, especially when you consider the appliance costs close to $3500.
However, the fridge still does a great job of maintaining constant temperatures in its cooling and freezer compartments. And it did well on our spill test, keeping water and other liquids in check, even on the top shelves.
The Frigidaire is a fantastic choice for those looking for an open-door refrigerator with a large, customizable flex drawer. It comes with a smudge-proof stainless steel finish, and its left door is smaller than the right one, making it easier to access the fridge's controls.
